Today is the day!
In 8 1/2 hours we will be at the orphanage meeting our Joy. What a special day this is!
Welcome Family and Friends! We hope you will enjoy following our adoption journey, and we would appreciate your prayers as you read along. Feel free to rejoice and to weep with us. May your hearts be broken for the orphans of our world, and may you witness hope in how great our God is to take us across the world so that our little girl will know Him. We thank you for your prayers, support, and encouragement.

Stephanie, the orphanage would not let us visit the area where the older kids are. :( I'm sorry. They only showed us the toddlers. They offered to show us a bit more but said we could not see the area where Joy had lived. I don't konw why. Joy was so ready to leave, we just decided to get out of there and start our new life together. She has been all smiles since!
