Waiting--Session 1

We've reach our first period of waiting.

After our homestudy and dossier notebooks arrived, we completed all the documents we needed so that we could begin meeting with the social worker who will write our homestudy. We also began compiling the official documentation that will make up our dossier for China.

We are now awaiting contact from the social worker so that we can begin our interviews with her. I am praying that her schedule is wide open and that we can get started immediately.

It's hard to hurry up and then wait. But I know that over the next several months, our lives will model that pattern repeatedly. I'm trying to think of it as character building.
